Abarth 50 Anniversario goes back to the past

For the auto show in Frankfurt Abarth a new special edition launched. For anyone who is the past can not let go, or just love most of the old familiar Abarthjes, but the luxury of a new instance will.

The past where Abarth 50 Anniversario is based on, is in 1963, presented Abarth 595. Indeed, the cracker-box that is about as heavy as the handbag of your girlfriend (m/v) and a half-century ago, about 30 hp at that time. This edition also has 180 horsepower from a 1.4-litre T-Jet, which in turn is linked to an Abarth Competizione gearbox.

The car stands on 17-inch alloy with a red border, and the livery was not glued, but hand painted (Emotion! Passion!). Anyway, Abarth is no hurry with the production, since the number of Abarth 50 Anniversario’s at 299 pieces will get stuck. The presale starts on the 15th of september, exactly a half century after his illustrious predecessor.

Really new news has Abarth not for the IAA in store, but they have a new flavour of the 695 Tributo Maserati. It is a new shade of gray, that no more than 49 Abarthjes will be made. A subtle reference to 1949, the founding year of Abarth.
