Unusual race: BMW M3 (711 hp) vs Ford GT (811 hp)

A pumped-eurosedan versus the glorious supercar from the US. Both are extra tickled also.

On the linkerstrip we find a M3 Coupé (E92, 4.0-liter V8 is connected to a VT3-750 superchargerkit. That, and a range of engine applications, should result in 711 horsepower at the rear wheels. For the schakelwerk they have the seven-speed DCT can be retained, but with a bit of other software.

The court asfaltstrook is occupied by a Ford GT. The 5.4-liter V8 went from 550 to roughly 800 horsepower at the rear wheels, thanks to a Whipple supercharger. In the Ford is an old school manual gearbox with six gears, resistance is changed.

The races took place during the most recent Shift-S3ctor-festival, held in Coalinga, California. You can now bet on who wins.
