Maserati A6G - half miljoen euro
Yesterday went through the auction house Bonhams in the famous Belgian seaside resort of Knokke, a few dozen classic automotive lots under the hammer, including the above Maserati A6G/54GT Coupé in 1957, with € 506.000 the topper of the auction was. Yet it was not the whole offer like hotcakes.

Advance was expected, made for the showpiece of the auction, following Ferrari Tipo 250 Europa Prototype from 1954, with a Pininfarina-drawn carriage rides. The 59-year-old Ferrari had between the 750 and 950k muster, but apparently this was not even the minimum bid removed, because in the lists of Bonhams, we find the car, never to return.

Update 14:00 – It seems that Bonhams us sand in the eyes thrown by the Ferrari is nowhere to be mention. According to Bloomberg, the model is actually sold, and for 816.500 euros. Given the estimate of 750-950k nor a thick topper.

Ferrari 250 Europa

Thus, it is not only hosanna when it comes to the appreciation of classic cars in general, and for classic ferraris in particular. Of course, a 250 GTO, you can touch with reasonable certainty for a few tens of millions still lost, but in other cases the result is very dependent on the mood of the moment.

Alfa Romeo 1900 C

On the rest of the plot was also fairly lauwtjes responded, actually there was almost nothing in that (far) above the estimated price was sold. The aforementioned Maserati was in advance of between 450,000 to 650,000 euros valued, and also another Italian gem, the above Alfa Romeo 1900C Sprint Series 2 Coupé from 1954 with coachwork of Carrozzeria Touring was not violent commandments: the estimate was 145.000 – 185.000 eypo, the roestschuit eventually went for 161.000 pegels out the door.
