Next BMW M5 and M6 get possible AWD

“The M5 and M6, maybe in the next generation they could get AWD, but not with the M3 or M4. Never.”

This statement was made by the CEO of BMW M, Dr. Friedrich Nitschke, in an interview with Motoring. Therein he says that in the next generation M5 and M6 would likely have a version where all wheels are powered. And they should be, given the demand for AWD models with competitors Mercedes and Audi.
