Decrease emissions from lease cars decreased in 2014

Where in previous years the average CO2 emissions per lease car dramatically slowed, slowed this decline somewhat in 2014.

For instance, the average CO2 emissions per lease car last year 99 grams per kilometre. In 2013, it was 103 grams, so the decrease amounted to approximately 4%. The years went on, the average emissions per car by about 9% per year down.

According to the Association of Dutch Autoleasemaatschappijen is also a tough job to get the emissions further. In total, it decreased the emissions of lease cars in the past 5 years, with 36 grams per kilometre. Thus we still have the cleanest fleet in Europe.
