30 navigation steles with Wi-Fi will be installed in the center of Moscow for the New year

Press service of Department of transport of Moscow has informed that by the end of 2015 in the center of Moscow will be installed about three dozen navigational stele with free access to Wi-Fi. At the moment appeared first navigation stele with free Wi-Fi appeared on Myasnitskaya street.

The installation of such steles is part of the Department’s project to implement a unified system of transport of navigation, which is designed to help pedestrians and passengers of public transport. The navigation system will combine different modes of transport. There are four types of steles — and medium narrow for sidewalks, wide space and wide passages, and round stelae are designed for outputs of INMETRO. It is equipped with all lighting and free Wi-Fi. They displayed a map of the nearest locality with a 5-minute walking accessibility map on a smaller scale and pointers to important objects.

For the New year such of the stele appears on a Large and Malaya Bronnaya streets, Lubyanka square, Neglinnaya, as well as a Large and Malaya Nikitskaya streets. 2016 planned mass introduction on the streets, past the reconstruction and improvement.
