Car manufacturers that have a look in the kitchen. Who does now not? Koenigsegg just do it, in the construction of the’s agera RS.

It’s agera RS is the first for the United States. As the cars arrive, the Americans are a bit different than others. I’m talking of course about the safety and emission requirements. A well-known example is Pagani, which only with the huayra, and more on an official way cars could wear out in the country. The rule is due to expire on import cars that are older than 25 years. This explains among other things the rising price of a Nissan Skyline R32.

Back to Koenigsegg. They also face the same strict rules. But it’s agera RS, chassis number 128, there will now finally change. To this ‘victory’ to celebrate, the manufacturer will complete construction of the sample parts on his website. Part 1 is online, where you can see how Koenigsegg himself had pity on the carbon monocoque of the car. The other parts will in the course of time, published under the name #Build128. Fun factoid: the chassis, including the fuel tank, weighs only 90 kilograms. The project so far, you can check in the gallery. In total, Koenigsegg 25 copies build the 1.160 hp’s agera RS.
