Downsizing
This new generation of the C63 AMG has the almost impossible task of the old to follow. The old with that gigantic, perhaps even many, large, atmospheric 6.2-litre V8 in the cabin. But also Mercedes-AMG escape not to keep up appearances and to ensure that, under controlled conditions on the dynamometer the C63 as economically as possible with fuel efficient. Hence, one of our most favorite blocks in the field has given way to a whole new V8. Mercedes performs a rate other than BMW for the M3 and M4 return a handle on a six-in-line.

The M177 engine does everything what it should do. At the bottom, there is so much torque, that you almost can not imagine that it is also like speed. Those who relish the comfort of the regular C-class might be disappointed in the C63.
