Aston Martins coupés
Aston Martins are beautiful and exclusive, but also damn hard to love each other. Shoot them from a certain angle, and I need you the answer is absolutely guilty remain. Therefore, ter leering ende we, a small course recognize the Aston’.

Aston Martin (any person that, to him, as Austin Martin tags or describes get a permaban and a drone on the roof of his house) currently has 4 models in the sale. The Cygnet is if the good is not more available:

  • the Vantage (V8 and V12) ; 4.385 mm x 1.865 mm (2025) x 1,260 mm ; wheelbase: 2,600 mm
  • the DB9 ; 4.720 mm x 1.905 mm x 1,282 mm ; wheelbase: 2.740 mm
  • the Vanquish (formerly DBS) ; 4.720 mm x 1.905 mm x 1.280 mm ; wheelbase: 2.740 mm
  • the Rapide ; 5.020 mm x 1.980 mm x 1,350 mm ; wheelbase: 2.989 mm

Very briefly (in 2011 and 2012) there was a opvulmodel between the DB9 and the DBS; the Virage. We shall take that so well.

Aston Martin V8 Vantage / V12 Vantage

Aston Martins entry-level model already exists since 2005. In the first instance, only with V8, but from 2009, this company of the V12 Vantage. First of all: kudos that Aston Martin has managed a 5.9 litre V12 in such a small car to build, but you have them apart if you have no badge can discern.

V8 vs V12 Vantage

Well, that is easy, provided you have him from the front, the watching: a look at the hood is sufficient. The V12 has here a considerable number of vents in it, that when the V8 is missing. You only see the side or back, then it is difficult. Grilles, bumpers, exhausts, achterspoilertje, are all identical between the V8 and V12.

Aston Martin DB9

To the front the looks of the grille to the DB9 a and the lamps (now with LED messages at the top) walk a bit further on the hood to the back than the Vantage, that the lamps flatter at the front.

DB9 (l) vs Vantage (r)

The DB9 is a thick 30 cm longer than the Vantage, so just the size you can see the difference. In addition, the most recent DB9, the spoiler and the piece shorter and more subtle. With the Vantage runs in a smooth arch to the rear lights, the DB9 is spitser. Also the number plate holder on an other place.

Aston Martin DBS

Dimensionally identical to the DB9, but much rawer and sportier in appearance. Where the DB9 is more GT, the DBS is much more flashy and present. At the bottom of the front bumper are additional recesses, and the side skirts and ventilation grills in the bonnet betrayed that you are here with a extra potent DB9. Also the rear diffuser is a good) of all.

AM DBS front

The dimensions are identical to the DB9, because it’s really just a DB9, but with sharper edges.

Aston Martin Vanquish

The Vanquish is like a continuation of the DBS to see. The model has the aggressive looks that there is no doubt that we are dealing with the most powerful model. The headlights were the LED messages that the DB9 was, and the taillights were modified, with a hint of One-77. They are in contrast to the old DB-taillights now fully assymetrsch, with a flat top, which is wider deployed to side – bottom.

AM Vanquish

The rear spoiler tends to his tree again more to that of the Vantage, although the Vanquish is not one solid piece of metal (there’s a hole in the middle). The hips, finally, are a lot fuller than that of the DB9.

Aston Martin Virage

The tussenpaus that for someone you knew it, they already left. The only purpose of the car was to fill between the DB9 and DBS, which is a nice mutual price difference knew.

Virage (l) vs DBS (r)

The Virage had the roostertjes but not the ventilation holes of the DBS in his bonnet. The rear bumper was identical to that of the DB9, but the spoiler was rounder.

Virage (l) vs Db9 (r)

After a year had Aston Martin, the redundancy of the Virage, and positioning of the the DB9 just a bit higher. Problem solved. Perhaps ashamed Aston Martin a bit for the Virage, because on their website there is nothing about the short-lived model.

Aston Martin Rapide

The largest Aston Martin, and also the only non-coupe. This giant was just in Austria by Magna Steyr built, but in the mid cycle took the Aston Martin, the large five-door back to Gaydon. Is now only if ‘S’ is available, but is not a runner in terms of sales.

Fortunately ‘it has to be instantly recognizable, as in: not to be confused with other Astons.
