Mass production of a smart watch second generation iPhone will only start during the second quarter of 2016. This was reported by DigiTimes citing sources in the supply chain. The only manufacturer of the Apple Watch 2 will be the company Quanta Computer.
Note that recent rumors have indicated will soon begin trial production of the next generation of smart hours from Apple. New smart watches may appear such innovations as front camera for receiving FaceTime calls right on the watch, a new Wi-Fi chip to extend the capabilities of Apple Watch without connecting to iPhone, tracking phases of sleep, and so on. All these technologies were tested by Apple, but it is unclear which of them will be implemented in Apple Watch 2. The announcement is expected in March.
