The occasionverkopen have grown in 2015, car companies sold is 4.7% more used cars!

This is evident from the figures of VWE Trendweb. The car companies sold 1.079.982 used passenger cars to consumers (B2C); that is 4.7% more than the 1.031.960 sold used cars in 2014. The selling among consumers (C2C) decreased slightly, from 680.045 to 667.104 occasions (-1,9%). This means that, in total, 2% more used cars are bought by consumers in 2014. And that they used increasingly more often by car companies to buy instead of individuals, a shift that is already a few years going on. In this article are only B2C digits/sell discussed.

Skoda strongest riser, Ford the least
In 2015, there are of the twenty largest brands are more used cars sold than in 2014. Skoda is the winner and left with +19.5% was the strongest increase. Also, there were many more used cars sold of the brands Toyota (+9,6%), Kia (+13,3%), Seat (+9.0%) and MINI (+18,1%). Also the French brands grew all above average. Brands that have the least grew were Ford (+1.4%) and Mercedes-Benz (+1,2%). With these figures set the trends of a year earlier is progressing and is Ford for the second consecutive year, relatively the worst performing volumemerk on the occasionmarkt.

Golf wins again
The Volkswagen Golf was again the best-selling used car, in spite of that one scandal. Detail: the number of Waves (such as Natasha) grew less than the overall market. Strong growth was especially in a lot of small models: the Volkswagen Polo (+11,1%), Renault Clio (+19,5%), Toyota Yaris (+23,9%) and Kia Picanto (+23,7%).
