BMW i8 Sexy Back
In honor of its 100-year anniversary comes BMW with a hotter i8, as is all just speculation. From Germany, there is now more concrete information on this from within, with the code name ‘M100’ floats to the surface.

The M100 would be a to – yes – 100 copies limited muscular brother of the 362 horsepower i8, which may i8s (or i8Cs) or i9 will be known. In contrast to the i8 skips he’s never leg day, and so there is a decent wide rubber under it, instead of 215 to 195 mm wide wielrenbandjes. The electric motor would opgepept be from 108 to 204 horsepower, and in place of the 1.5 driepitter, there is a 2.0 four cylinder with 286 hp.

Combine this with the 27 hp of the ISG (the startgenerator), and you’re over 500 hp, in fully loaded condition. The torque would be around 700 newton meters. This claims at least Autobild, that information from the BMW passed got, or pretends to. According to me they have Lumma called for a couple of accompanying photoshops, because the images look rather…particular .

BMW i8 *Christine Neubauer niet meegeleverd*

Well, in 2016 we’ll know. Top Gear Magazine called the i8 recently out to their Car of the Year, and with his hip key is the cutting-edge, nicely styled and absolutely innovative plug-in also fun for the gadgetfreaks, but I can the use of. In fact, it stands now he is nowhere, except in price. And not in a positive way.

If the M100, as outlined, provides BMW a sports car with a lot of battery weight, and if you elektrosap after fifteen minutes pop up, you have a beautiful and very expensive four-cylinder achterwielaandrijver with less than 300 hp (where Mercedes-AMG 360 hp from the same content attracts under your ass, with around 1,600 kg weighs more than a cheaper and more powerful – M4. But they do it differently than all the others, it must be said, for what it’s worth.
