IBM has announced a definitive agreement for the purchase of Red Hat. The transaction amount will reach 34 billion dollars, at $ 190 per share. The deal will be the largest purchase in the history of IBM.

Red Hat Software is an American company that produces solutions based on open source, including Linux distributions of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Fedora.

As IBM plans, the purchase will expand its influence as a provider of cloud solutions for corporate customers and bring in the leaders. As a result, Red Hat will become part of IBM Hybrid Cloud.

The deal must still be approved by various authorities. Be completed in the second half of 2019.
