GAZA
Ismail Haniyeh is the new leader of the Palestinian Hamas movement. He follows Khaled Meshaal, who is stepping down at the end of his term, at a time when Hamas, a more moderate course wants to sail.
With the appointment of the 54-year-old Haniyeh thinks Hamas is the right man to have found out from the international isolation to come.
