The supply of reprints of the legendary Nokia 3310 began. This was reported by the official account of Nokia Mobile Twitter. The specific timing of the start of actual retail sales is not reported. But, apparently it will happen soon enough.
Recall reissued version keypad Nokia 3310 was introduced by company HMD Global in February at the MWC in Barcelona in 2017, simultaneously with the Nokia 3 and 5.
New Nokia 3310 has got a 2.4-inch display with a resolution of QVGA (320 x 240 pixels), 2 megapixel camera and even a slot for cards microSD. The phone is much smaller, thinner and lighter predecessor. It is offered in four color options — red, yellow, blue and gray. As reported during the announcement, sales start in the second quarter of 2017 at a price of 49 euros.
In may 2016, Nokia announced a strategic licensing agreement with Finnish HMD regarding intellectual property and brand, in which the HMD will be able to create phones and tablets of the new generation under the Nokia brand for the next ten years. HMD has already submitted a budget phone Nokia 150 in December 2016 and the Nokia 6 in January 2017.
