Jaguar F-PACE: driving test and video

Jaguar wants a piece of conquer the market where many of the big names are located. So they’d better be something good coming up.

Now I think the crossovers and SUV’s are rarely really nice, but if I compare it with the competition, I am of the lines quite happy. It is more of a high-on-the-legs estate than that the car is really an SUV-lines. In addition, it is unmistakably a Jaguar, the rear lights seem to be directly from the F-Type (driving test) picked and even if you are an F-PACE in your rear view mirror to see you will not be able to think with something other than a Jag. Connecting to my phone is effortless and the menus are fairly logically arranged. The only what me irritates is that of those “you just have to know”-menus are like for the navigation. If you are a new destination want to choose, you have to know that you have certain choices in the menu, there is not very clear “enter New destination”. But it’s a huge improvement, well done Jaguar.
With a press on the start button, the 3.0 diesel. A block that we know from the Land Rover family. It is a fine, ferocious beats six-cylinder diesel with good performance. The block delivers 300 hp, 700 Nm of torque and also via the widely believed eight speed automatic transmission. A very fine combination, so I find out soon. You can also the 2.0 liter diesel with 180 hp, but emotionally, that is what onderbemeten. Benzineblokken are there with 340 and 380 hp, but you will be in the Netherlands, comparatively not many are going to see drive.
This 3.0 diesel is doing a sprint to 100 in 6.2 seconds and stoempt by up to 241 kilometers per hour in the left lane of the Autobahn. I have not myself been able to verify this, but until a thick 200 runs, the F-PACE in any case goes by. No reason to doubt so.
After a lot of miles with the F-PACE, I can only conclude that Jaguar its homework well done. She winds itself no bones about it: the Macan was the most important reference material, as the best driving crossover in the luxury segment. And the F-PACE shows on the dynamic plane, no stitches. Of course, you may be wondering how important it is that a crossover of good forwards, but we find it nice that there is almost no understeer to be found. That the F-PACE is really on in a bend can be put and even a bit of oversteer out of the hat manages to turn in better boenderwerk.
