Owning an Xbox One will give you the opportunity to experience exclusive gaming titles, courtesy of Microsoft, but at times there are a few trade-offs that the console owner has to make when he/she ends up purchasing the Xbox One. One of them is the long and excruciating task of activating and installing all of your games. Luckily, once you have finished, you can start playing!

Part 1
Getting Started

Sign into your Xbox One. Use your Microsoft account to sign in. -

Choose the card you want to activate. The cards will come in three forms:- With an activation code
- With a code plus
- With a QR code

Go to the Store. This option should be available on your Xbox One’s main menu. Once in the store, select Games.
Part 2
Activating Your Games and XB Live Membership

Click on “Use a code.” Scroll to the right side of your screen to find this option.- Alternatively, you can use the voice recognition feature present in your console and say, “Xbox, use a code.”

Pick up the card that has the QR code on it. This will be used to activate your game or your XB Live membership. -

Place the QR code in front of the Kinect sensor. The Kinect sensor will recognize the QR code and scan it.- If this process fails, just select “Or enter the 25-character code,” punch in the digits present on the card, and click on “Enter.”
Part 3
Installing Your Activated Game

Go to the Store. If you have successfully activated your game, then head down to the Store and select “Games.” -

Select the game you have activated. -

Install the game. Open the game and select “Install.” Wait patiently for the download and installation process to complete.- Games that have a larger size will no doubt take longer to install, just wait patiently.
