Aventador Roadster flies in a fire during media event

A media-scheursessie with an Aventador Roadster picked up on the Australian Phillip Island to something else than expected, with fiery scenes. Crikey…

Lamborghini had a Roadster down under sent to potential customers and local media to let them drive. The instance was dozens of laps around the circuit pounded, but began to protest when an editor of Top Gear Australia and behind the wheel. He had the thing immediately freeze, and eyewitnesses tell the Australian Drive that there are multiple fire extinguishers’ were needed to keep the flames in check. Good silly, also if you’ve just been following for a few laps.

According to the stories, were photographers that images of the burning bull were forced to remove it, but Lamborghini itself denies this:

“We certainly did not ‘force’ any of our guests to delete any imagery obtained on the day. We did however, kindly take request that our guests refrain from making any assumptions through the media – particularly when, at the time, the cause of the incident had not yet leg adequately investigated.”

The consideration is what is worth more: a few spectacular photos to bring out, or no longer be invited to the Lamborghini-events. Allegedly there was a small oil spill in combination with a hot exhaust is the culprit.
