The company Microsoft has officially announced the recall and replacement of power cables for Surface Pro, Surface Pro 2 and Surface Pro 3 some sold before 15 March (for Russia – to 15 July) of 2015. Free replacement is valid for power cables and does not apply to power adapters. Just need to be replaced about 2.25 million cables.
The cables are being recalled due to occur over time problems and damage such as cracks, abrasions and swellings. Microsoft recommends changing the cable, even if it doesn’t look damaged.
Tablets sold after March 15 (for Russia – to 15 July) of 2015, are equipped with power cables of the new sample, which change is required.
