Young car buyers attention. Nissan wants you attention grabbing with two beautiful concept cars: the IDx Freeflow and IDx Nismo.
The IDx Freeflow
That first one is a 4.1 meters long and 1.7 meters wide car with a beige tint on the sides. Fortunately, the looks of the top of the IDx Freeflow colour-slightly less aged: white. That beige color is there is a reason: he goes back to cars like the Datsun 1600, Skyline and Laurel from the previous century. Retro. The drive is provided by a 1.2-litre or 1.5-litre petrol engine, linked to a CVT box.
Nissan ceo Satoru Tai gave clear that they are targeting young people who are just a simple, strakgelijnde compartment want. Jep, so this is a precursor to the Toyota GT 86 and Subaru BRZ competitor which the Japanese have in mind:
“We conceived the IDx through direct interaction with Generation Z who seek a compact, minimalistic sedan-shaped coupe.”
The IDx Nismo
The second concept is a Nismo version on the same architecture, but 10 inches wider and larger 19-inch rims parked. Under the hood lies a direct-injection 1.6-litre four-cylinder with supercharging (turbo), but about vermogensaantallen does Nissan make any statements. They are, from today, to smile at the Tokyo auto show.
