Meizu is preparing a version of Pro 5 on Ubuntu

Apparently, the company Meizu is preparing to release a version of the smartphone Meizu Pro 5 Ubuntu Edition. In Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter, were published photos of the smartphone Meizu Pro 5-based operating system Ubuntu Touch.




Earlier, Meizu released version of Ubuntu Touch for the smartphone Meizu MX4 in 2015. It is expected that the smartphone Meizu Pro 5 Ubuntu Edition can be officially presented during the exhibition MWC 2016, which will be held in Barcelona from 22 to 25 February 2016.

Recall, Meizu Pro 5 much attention is paid to sound quality.
