KAISER-WILHELM-KOOG –

In the German part of the Wadden sea, eight sperm whales stranded. The young sperm whales washed ashore on 2 km of the dike at Kaiser-Wilhelm-Koog, said conservation organisation LKN Monday.

Between 9 and 12 metres long, the animals were Sunday evening discovered. ,,One of the animals was still, the others were already dead,” said the organization on Monday.

In January are already sure sixteen dead sperm whales discovered on the coasts of the North sea, in Germany, the Netherlands and Great Britain. Experts suggest that they are on their way, a wrong route taken. None of the animals survived.
