DAF trucks
Just a moment of patriotic pride.

There is a great feast is celebrated at the Local truck manufacturer. 2013 was a good year for DAF, thanks to the entry into effect of more stringent environmental regulations from 1 January 2014. Because of this, there may be no Euro 5 trucks to be supplied in the EU, but cars that meet the Euro-6 norm requirements are a lot more expensive. Similar with the whole elimination-of-the-0%-other-stuff, bought carriers, therefore, last year, the Euro 5 trucks.

DAF made a net profit of 289 million euros, an increase of no less than 12.5 percent compared to 2012. To do this, they built a total of 41.830 large trucks (+11 percent) that their market share in Europe comes out at 16.2 percent. A record for DAF.

Unfortunately, do the new environmental rules that the sale of lorries in the EU this year, probably, will decrease. Still want DAF their market share in the coming years to extend it to 20 percent. The largest customers remain the Netherlands, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland and the Czech republic.
