This morning, reveals McLaren her toekomstivisie on the racing in the form of the MP4-X. Holy Batmobile, Batman!

Don’t think this next year on the starting grid of the Formula 1 to find, because Batman is much too busy with the fighting of evil. But the designers of McLaren were given a free hand to a vision of the future in motorsport design. The result is this MP4-X, a kind of Formula 1 car. But in a different way.

To begin with, there is the closed cockpit, a feature which is increasingly spoken of in the king’s class of motorsport, especially for the safety of the passengers to increase after multiple (sometimes fatal) incidents in recent years. But there are more differences compared to the Formula 1 cars that we are used to.
