Spotted: the most expensive Lamborghini Huracán in the Netherlands

This photo was not taken on the planet Pandora, but just in Coevorden.

Every time you think it can't get any more extreme, Lamborghini manages to go the extra mile. Cars such as the Centenario and Sián are simply extraterrestrial in design. However, it is not only the limited V12 models where the Italians go completely wild. Based on the Huracán, there is now also an extremely extreme variant: the Huracán STO.

The letters STO stand for Super Trofeo Omologato. Loosely translated, it means that this is a race car for the street. Judging by the appearance, there seems to be no word of a lie.

If you look purely at the horsepower, an STO is no more extreme than a Huracán EVO, because both have 640 hp. An important difference, however, is that these horsepower with the STO are all sent to the rear wheels. In addition, there is less weight and more downforce. This has transformed the Huracán into a real track monster.

We first got to see the Huracán STO in November last year and the first units are now being delivered to customers. So @destroyer-gt came across one in Coevorden, with a brand new Dutch license plate.

This is absolutely not a car that you just walk or drive past. A gray copy would already stand out enormously, but this copy is also performed in an almost clownish color scheme. The owner opted for matte blue with bright red accents. As if the whole thing wasn't busy enough, a black checkered pattern has also been added.

It is not the first Huracán STO to have a Dutch registration. A matt green specimen has already been registered in our country. It is just not as striking as this specimen, especially not in a wooded area. This freak STO is also the most expensive Huracán in the Netherlands, with a price tag of €463,045.
