Are you waiting? Samsung has prepared a surprise for owners of the penultimate Galaxy flagships. The upcoming One UI 6.1 update will bring artificial intelligence features from the Galaxy S24 to the Galaxy S23, Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 series, writes SamMobile. Discuss© Ferra
Leaked screenshots confirm that that the Advanced Intelligence menu on the Z Fold 5 mirrors that of the S24, offering a full range of AI capabilities. This includes features such as Chat Assist for message translation and tone settings, Live Translate for calls, and on-device text translation during a call.
The Galaxy S23 FE may be the only exception. Even though it was released recently, it lacks the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip found in the S23, Fold 5, Flip 5 and Tab S9 series. This chip may be important for some artificial intelligence functions.
One UI 6.1 will begin rolling out to the above-mentioned devices at the end of this month, and will be available in most regions by April.
