Swedish gadget for fishermen will help you catch more fish

Weighing 7 grams, the Swedish Probe device is designed to help fishermen increase their catch. This compact waterproof design, weighing only 7 grams, is attached to the top end of the fishing line and monitors the bait in the water, recording the depth and conditions under which the fish attacks. Invented by a Swedish fisherman Christer Chitreus, Probe is currently the subject of a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. The device measures 33 mm in length and does not attract the attention of fish, providing accurate measurements of casting length, water depth, water temperature and underwater light.

When a fish attacks the bait, the Probe records this event along with depth and other variables . Once the device is raised to the surface, it transmits the recorded data via Bluetooth to the user's smartphone, where a special application allows you to determine the optimal parameters for the next casts.

By assessing previous data on speed and depth, the application warns the fisherman when the bait is likely to be caught has reached the target depth and you can begin to pull it to the surface. If the project is successfully implemented, Probe promises fishermen more effective fishing methods.
