As explained by a Reddit user NLL Apps, the new policy will affect the Accessibility API. So far, developers have used the Accessibility API to get around Google's restrictions on publishing call recording apps. Now the company is putting the final nail in the coffin for them.
The good news is that while the Google Play Store will no longer be able to host call recording apps, this is not the case for pre-installed programs. For example, if your phone already has built-in call recording, you can still use it.
