Version 12X is the cheapest, this device has the weakest processor. Version 12 is somewhere between 12X and 12 Pro, although closer in size to 12X. Finally, the most powerful and largest of the three is the Xiaomi 12 Pro. The body materials are the same in all cases. The devices come with 120W (12 Pro) and 67W (12 and 12X) chargers.

More serious differences between smartphones begin with the diagonal of the display. Xiaomi 12 and 12X have identical screens: 6.28 inches, 120 Hz, Full HD and AMOLED. At the same time, the 12 Pro has a diagonal of 6.7 inches, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a resolution of WQHD. However, there is no anti-flicker function in 12 Pro, while it is present in Xiaomi 12 and 12X. To improve the image on the display is possible only in two versions: 12 and 12 Pro.

The older versions – 12 and 12 Pro – are equipped with the most modern and powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. But Xiaomi 12X has Snapgragon 870. All three devices cope with everyday tasks very quickly. But there are noticeable differences in games. At the same time, 12 Pro and 12 heat up very strongly, their throttling is also extremely noticeable. However, they allow you to run the most demanding projects on ultra settings. At the same time, the younger 12X works more stable with Snapgragon 870.

The battery capacity in all cases is almost the same – 4500 mAh for 12 and 12X, 4600 mAh for 12 Pro. “Lives” longer than the other 12X, and twice as long. If you do not use devices very actively, then by the end of the day, 12X will have about 30 percent, and 12 – 15 percent, 12 Pro – 8 percent.

12 and 12X are fully charged thanks to a 67-watt charge, approximately 40 minutes. 12 Pro will take less than 20 minutes to charge with fast charging enabled, and 25 minutes without fast charging. The 12 and 12 Pro also, unlike the 12X, support fast wireless and reverse charging.

Selfie cameras in all cases are good. They can also shoot video with stabilization.

If we talk about the main ones, they are the same. Only additional cameras differ in characteristics. The 12 Pro version has a wide-angle and macro lens of 50 MP, while the 12 and 12X have a width of 12 MP and a macro lens of 5 MP. The expert also stressed that all three devices are the same in terms of photo and video quality.

Conclusion

According to the presenter, the entire Xiaomi 12 line turned out to be quite interesting. However, the 12 and 12 Pro versions were very controversial due to their processor: it is powerful and fast, but heats up under almost any load and becomes weaker than 12X after that. In addition, due to Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the charge lasts much less. Of all three smartphones, the expert would therefore choose the Xiaomi 12X version.
