“Elena Bunina is leaving the position of CEO of Yandex LLC. Acting CEO of Yandex Artem Savinovsky was appointed in Russia. We will tell about further changes later,” TASS quotes the company's press service.
Elena Bunina has served as CEO since December 2017. In March 2022, Tigran Khudaverdyan was appointed to replace her. However, a day after his appointment, he left the post, as he fell under EU sanctions. Elena Bunina was supposed to act as CEO until April 15. Why she leaves the company ahead of schedule is unclear. The Bell writes that Bunina left Russia and now works in the Israeli office of Yandex.
