A source known as Dohyun Kim said Samsung is preparing to leave Android and replace it with Google Fuchsia. It will most likely take several years. Leaked Ice Universe confirmed these rumors.
Similar rumors have surfaced in May. Then they talked that Samsung could start using Fuchsia OS from Google. At the time, it was unclear if the South Korean company plans to use it as the operating system for its smartphones.
Google has been working on an open source Fuchsia operating system since at least 2016. The OS is designed for a wide range of devices and has many advantages over Android, such as ease of updating.
