Sequencing allows you to determine the sequence of nucleotides in the DNA molecule. This helps to subsequently find out the causes of hereditary diseases, predict mutations, etc.
“Now we are starting another project, when, among other things, we are making a genetic profile for a newborn, we are doing genomic sequencing. With the help of bio-innovative technologies, we are creating a kind of digital passport – a digitized human genetic passport, “Mikhail Murashko said.
It is worth noting that the issuance of genetic passports is enshrined in presidential decree No. 97 of March 11, 2019.
