Trump cuts heavily in foreign aid

WASHINGTON –

The budget proposal of the government-Trump turn sharply the knife in the American spending abroad. There is much less money available for health programs in the world, food aid, international peacekeeping, educational and cultural exchanges and the management of climate change. This is clear from documents on the budgetplan that Tuesday have been released.

The U.S. contribution for the improvement of global health, including efforts aimed at fighting hiv/aids, tuberculosis and malaria, with nearly a quarter reduced to about 5.8 billion euros in 2018.

In the plans of Trump, there is also a discount of 44 percent on funding for international organizations. There is not specified what they are. NATO remains in the preventing the outside shot.
