The new generation of Microsoft Surface Pro officially presented

The company Microsoft has officially presented a new generation of its hybrid tablet Surface Pro. As expected, the successor to the Surface Pro 4 will be called Surface Pro 5 but Microsoft decided to get rid of figures showing generation. The new Surface Pro looks almost identical to its predecessor, but went with Intel Core processors sixth generation (Skylake architecture) on Intel Core of the seventh generation architecture (Kaby Lake).

The tablet has an updated stylus Surface Pen recognition 4096 levels of depression, angle and reduced delays. Updated and a stand, it now supports a wider span of angles, including “Studio mode” when the tablet is almost lying on the table, creating a comfortable position for drawing and handwriting.

According to Microsoft, the tablet can work up to 13.5 hours of battery per charge. It is also noted that the 12.3-inch display 2736 x 1824 pixels got better color rendering. Model Intel Core i5 m3 and was designed without fans, but the top-end version with the Intel Core i7 still uses a fan. It is worth noting that for the first time in the series, Microsoft has offered the option of LTE.



The new generation of Microsoft Surface Pro on Windows 10 will be available June 15 at a price of 799 U.S. dollars.
