At a special event in Berlin, Huawei introduced the lineup MateBook previously presented hybrid tablet based on Windows. One of the novelties, MateBook X was previously known under the code name Pascal is a portable 13-inch laptop and can be considered as a sort of alternative to the MacBook 12.
The laptop is based on Intel Core i5-7200U or i7-7500U seventh generation, 4 or 8 GB of RAM, SSD volume of 256 or 512 GB. IPS display has a resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels.
Supports dual-band Wi-Fi (802&12 a/b/g/ac) and Bluetooth 4.1. Of the ports there are two USB Type-C and a 3.5 mm headphone Jack. Dimensions are 286 x 211 x 12.5 mm and weighs 1.05 kg. the Claimed battery life in video playback is 10 hours.
The laptop is available in grey, gold and pink-gold colors. The timing of the release and estimated price is not yet announced, the adapter included in the kit.
UpDate: Huawei has announced the prices for MateBook X, they constitute 1399, 1599 and 1699 euros, depending on configuration.
