Organization, Mozilla has announced the completion of the purchase of the company Read It Later, the developer of the popular service deferred reading Pocket. As noted by Mozilla, this is her first strategic acquisition.
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. The result of the acquisition, the Pocket will be included in the portfolio of Mozilla products as a new product line, along with the Firefox browser.
According to the team’s Pocket, the service will become an independent subsidiary of the Mozilla. Rearrangements in the team are planned. Moreover, the developers promise soon to please the users of the service several significant updates.
