Google announced the upcoming update of OS Wear OS formerly known as Android Wear. Update Wear OS 2.2 is called while “H Update”.
The new version of the platform for smart watches has received a number of functional improvements. The update offers a new power saver mode Battery Saver Mode, which automatically turns on when the battery is 10% or below. In this mode, the display shows only the time, which should extend the operating time of the remaining charge.
After 30 minutes of inactivity the clock when the user has removed the watch from your wrist, the device automatically switches to deep sleep mode, also saving charge.
Smart Resume App allows you to quickly re-open previously used app. Another innovation is the two-step shutdown. To disable the watch will need to hold the power button and then choose the display “off” or “restart”.
The update will gradually be extended to smart watches with Wear OS in coming months.
