Nintendo was able to sue the couple who owned the sites LoveROMS.com and LoveRETRO.co, $ 12 million. These sites were distributed emulators and game images.

Defendants recognized the direct and indirect violation of copyright and trademark of Nintendo. They agreed to close their sites and pay 12 $ 230,000 Japanese gaming giant.

Nintendo has filed a lawsuit in Federal court in Arizona against the owners LoveROMS.com and LoveRETRO.co back in the summer of 2018, accusing those in the mass infringement of copyrights and trademarks.

Sites LoveROMS.com and LoveRETRO.co was proposed, including the most beloved retro games. Note that in the former Soviet Union were known unofficial clone of the Nintendo — Dendy.
