The flagship Huawei Mate 20 Pro was slower than the iPhone XS

In the database benchmark Geekbench showed the results of testing the upcoming release of the smartphone Huawei Mate 20 Pro not yet officially presented by the manufacturer.

Smartphone 3390 earned points in single core test and 10318 in multi-core. It works under control of operational system Android 9 Pie and equipped with 6 GB of RAM. Huawei Mate Mate 20 and 20 Pro have become the first smartphones on a proprietary 7-nanometer processor Kirin 980.

Flagship smartphones Samsung Galaxy Note and the OnePlus 9 6 on the basis of 10-nanometer chips Exynos and Snapdragon 9810 845 in the best case do not reach such performance in the Geekbench.

The first commercially available smartphones based on 7-nanometer processor of steel iPhone XS and XS Max. Their hardware is based on processor A12 Bionic.

If you compare the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and iPhone XS in Geekbench, the latter significantly outperform the first, despite the lower amount of RAM. The best score in Geekbench the iPhone XS is now 4795 and 11170 points, respectively.

We will note, last week Huawei announced the Kirin 980 superiority over Apple A12 Bionic. On one of the closed presentations the company representatives said that Kirin 980 better than Apple A12 Bionic, but did not specify what and how.
