The company Samsung is considering the possibility of simplifying their flagship lines, by combining the Galaxy S series and Note. This was reported by the Korean media.
Simplification is seen since last year. Suppliers and partners of the company have been notified about possible decrease in the number of flagship smartphones that Samsung releases every year.
In the past, and this year the company released the standard version of the Samsung Galaxy S and larger version of Galaxy S Plus in the first half, and phablet Note series postponed until the second half.
Model Galaxy S Plus has similar hardware capabilities as the Note, except for the proprietary stylus. In early 2019, it is expected Galaxy S10 Plus a diagonal of 6.4 inches, and is scheduled in August Note 9 — 6.38 inches. Instead of releasing Galaxy S Plus and Note one flagship, Samsung will be able to reduce the cost and raise the profitability of production.
