To celebrate that there is in the present facility 100 years of Morgans are built the Britten 100 copies of the Plus 8 Speedster build, with on board the old trusted 4.799 cc big BMW V8.

Yet, says Morgan little about the model, except that from June goes into production, quite to personalize, and it is provided with ‘a series of eccentric styling features only made available on the 100 years celebratory models built during 2014‘.

The 4.8 litre BMW V8, which delivers 370 horsepower, linked to a manual or automatic zesbak, and does 0-100 in 4,2 seconds. The top speed is limited to 240 km/h (148 mph). In addition, a horsepower-to-weight ratio promised that every model in its class beats. Ok, but what competition there than actually with the Plus 8? The ordinary Plus 8 has a dry weight of 1,100 kg, then you have a bit of a picture.

Voorsalsnog we have the following renders of the launch model, including one of a Speedster with roof (contradiction in terms??). The starting price is in the UK, £69,995, including taxes.

Update: we have a Dutch starting price: from € 141.999,- including VAT and BPM, for the vending machine. The manual version has 6 gears and starts at € 149.999, because the CO2 emissions, and therefore the BPM amount, this version is higher.
