IDC: PC Market in Russia declined by one third over the year

Analytical company IDC has summed up the results of the Russian market of personal computers in the fourth quarter of 2015. For the last quarter in Russia were supplied to 1.29 million portable and desktop PCs. This represents a decrease of 30.2 per cent in unit terms and by 37.2% in value terms compared to the same period last year.

If we consider not only quarter and whole year of 2015, a decline of 38.4 per cent with deliveries of 4.87 million units. Money markedly reduced even more — by 46.8% from 2.07 billion U.S. dollars.

The leader of the PC market in Russia was Lenovo with a share of 21.6% of all personal computers shipped during the year. In second place is HP with a share of 16.7%, the third the ASUS with a share of 14.4%, the fourth — Acer with 11.3% and on the fifth — DEXP from 6.2%.

Deliveries of desktops dropped by 38% to 1.88 million units. First place for PC desktop is HP, followed by Lenovo, DEXP, DEPO Computers and iRU. Laptops decreased by 38.6% to 2.99 million units. The top five are Lenovo, ASUS, HP, Acer and Dell.
