Mercedes gave us last week a sneak peek at the SLS AMG Final Edition, in a combinatierelease with the S65 AMG. Today, they give all the photos and information, including the price.
Let’s start with what we already knew. The Final is based on the SLS GT, which means that we 591 horses and 650 Nm under the hood is welcome, and there will be 350 copies made.
The uitzwaaimodel comes both as a coupe and roadster. The hood is not carbon, it just has a carbon fibre‘look’. However, mirrors and motorcover in the stuff available, but as an option, just like the ceramic brakes. The carbon fiber splitter and rear spoiler are standard, these were taken from the SLS Black Series.
The forged AMG rims with kruisspaken are available in two colors: matte black with high-gloss accents, or matte black with a gloss black rim. If you seriously want to go to monitors, then mount Mercedes at no extra cost a set of ‘Dunlop Sport Maxx Race ” Cup tyres in size 265/35 R 19 (front) and 295/30 R 20 (behind).
Performance
The bullige V8 in combination with an AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 7-speed sporttransmissie provides a neat performance: from a standstill in 3.7 seconds to 100 km/h, 0-200 goes in 11,2 seconds. The electronically-limited top speed of 320 km/h.
Interior and price
The inside of the Final contains both in the central parts of the seats, as in the portiervoering designo Exclusive leather in a diamond pattern stitched. This black leather is finished with contrasting silver stitching, which, in their turn, good colors with the silver seat belts. Carbonafwerking is standard. On the carbon fiber center console is an ” AMG FINAL EDITION – 1 of 350’ emblem pasted. I’m special and I know it.
Then the key question. How much do Mercedes for his creation, which from march 2014 will be released? Well, as much *gulp*:
