Een doodsbange Jeremy Clarkson
To own say had to Jezza and Co. under a bed, diving for the angry crowd to be able to escape.

The team of Top Gear had traveled to Argentina for a special. It was (among others) a Porsche 928 used, which was equipped with a license plate that without too much imagination refers to the Falkland war. The local population was not determined, but it was not in a reproachful finger. The crew fled namely headlong the land of steak and Fell off, and the situation would even be so imminent that there deaths could fall, according to Clarkson himself.

The license plate

Jezza was there when the chickens are on to explain that the plate is not a scripted provocation towards Argentines. It was based all on chance, and the entire crew had during the shoot, exemplary behaviour. Although that from the mouth of someone that the confrontation is not certain to avoid implausible may sound, it has Clarkson in his weekly column on one and the other one explained.

The offending number plate (H982 FKL) was, according to Clarkson long the car removed. A thoughtful twitterer had claimed that this number and letter combination sometimes to angry reactions could, lead the team to put in order before the pictures in Argentina for a plate with random numbers and letters on the Porker to screws.

The shit goes down

The subsequent situation such as JC represents him, almost to suspect that there is a conspiracy against Top Gear or the BBC was forged. The roguish trio was quiet on a mountain to pose for photos and signatures, when suddenly a small protest formed at the foot of the same hill. Then was made to them by some local officials made it clear that the entire crew are not welcome, and that was about the moment that the hell broke out.

Allegedly swelled the angry mob quickly, which the team decided the recordings to end and in the direction of the hotel to flee. There was the passage blocked by a group of angry truckers, but ultimately meant that the British would, under a bed way to diving and to the evil Argentinians to escape.

Clarkson, Hammond and May could really well fairly quickly get away with screeching tyres and are heading for Buenos Aires, but a part of the crew (29 men) could not so quickly come. They reached after a tough journey of 6 hours to the border with Chile, but should be on the road several times in ‘ambushes’ are driven. They were also constantly bothered by locals that the TG cars of the road tried to express.

And on that bombshell…

Clarkson concludes with the statement that the license plate not the actual reason was, but that the English nationality of the vast majority of the crew the real reason behind the riots (what comes about, goes around?). Might, is of course not inconceivable that the Argentines still air had gotten the license plate number, and still story wanted to pick up despite the fact that the thing is already long and wide was replaced. Anyway, we can’t wait for the eventful christmas on the tube appears. Must be a special episode.
