We explain the gems that last month on Autojunk appeared, this time in an edition with lots of (semi-) classic cars.
This month is Lars (Larsyboy1997) us gastjurylid, after he last month with a beautiful picture of a BMW M6 Safetycar out to be the best. With Wouter and Dizono absent (busy busy busy), Lars has together with Autoblogger and onderbovengetekende the outcome determined. Containing only (semi-) classic cars this time, funny enough.
Seat 3: Porsche 944 Turbo
Lars: “I found This a very beautiful photo! A nice car and a beautiful location. Tad on the light side, but that makes the photo, not worse. The car is nicely in between the fence and is not cut off, something which is quite an art to the car and the camera is really in a good position. This I get by the sun still a bit of summer feeling. What I also love about this photo is that the car is completely white. No reflection of the sky, no clouds at all in the car to see. Even the shade is nice and tight and is not interrupted by the shadow of trees, etc. This can be in a Porsche calendar. My number 2!” Autoblogger adds that he’s also a beautiful picture), but that he is setting what cut. I agree and in addition had the car for me, something more isolated, the photos in this series are to me something to press. 2: Fiat 1100D
A very busy setting, to a picture where an almost serene calmness radiates from. Nathanvillephotography put a beautiful old Fiatje 1100D on the photo, and the results are there. Lars had him as the winner in his glance: “What a sweetheart haha! I have never had of this occurrence was heard, but I find the picture a success! The sharpness/depth ratio is very. The focus will be on the car. Incidentally, this really is a magnificent location for a Fiat. The stone road, the stone houses and mountains. The lamps of the car are already finished. I am happy when I go to the photo look, and that says a lot for someone who normally only leave modern cars. This is my number 1, simply because everything is true to the picture!”
Seat 1: Toyota Celica
And then the winner of this month. The post not every month something on Autojunk, but when he does he almost always have this monthly list. This time with his (former) own car: a lovely Toyota Celica TA60 with a bowl of eighties-swag where you are completely happy. The car, the location, the passing car: it is all hate it or love it, and Lars, is everything but enthusiastic. Autoblogger and I are, however, a fan. It is a beautiful, exciting picture where you can continue to watch. Gijs, next month we would love to hear again your input in choosing the best photos from October.
