Apple released a new free app for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. It’s called Music and Memos is designed for quick recording of musical ideas that came to mind in the Creator. Something like sketchbook for musicians.
With Music Memos can be recorded in high quality uncompressed vocals, acoustic guitar, piano and other instruments. A collection of such notes can be organized, give the title, tags, and then use in future musical masterpieces.
Among the features is the automatic detection of chords, rhythmic pattern and tempo, as well as the opportunity to listen to an excerpt with overlaid bass and drums. You can add comments and text, send excerpts to friends or publish directly to Apple Music Connect. Also provides for integration with GarageBand for easy transfer of records.
