Why were we in 2014 and less in the file?

We drive more, but they are less in the file. Sounds contradictory? If we Rijkswaterstaat may believe, than that.

We drove in 2014 a total of 66,3 billion kilometres, yet only two percent more than the 65 billion kilometers from the previous year. That we have less (-0,7%) in the file ended up, we have according to Minister Schultz van Haegen to that huge amount of extra asphalt. Thus, you would be on the A15 motorway in Rotterdam is now eleven minutes faster at the place of destination, while on other freeways more often the gas it can keep.

However, there is still plenty of work to do, because in certain regions there is almost not traffic jams to escape. The A20 between Hoek van Holland and Gouda remains the absolute leader (and number 2) if it is on the queue length arrives, with a total of 287.000 km file. That will probably have until 2022 to take, because only then will the widening of the A13-A16 open.
