Opel Slalom concept
Beautiful orange is not ugly! Design house Bertone did in 1996 an attempt to make a beautifully lined Sportswagen design, this Opel Slalom as a result.

As the basis for this orange experiment, the Opel Calibra. The Slalom informed than their powertrain, and was fitted with a blown 2-litre à 204 hp. The power to all four wheels steered, and the torque was 280 Nm. No numbers where you steep of sit saves, but still got the Slalom in a 6.8-count to 100 km/h and gave the particular thing that the pipe only to Maarten at 245 km/h.

The special color is not a tribute to the Dutch national team/royals, but was inspired by the colours of Veuve Clicquot; the favorite champoepelmerk of the Italian design house (†). Or color the exterior to a higher level of tilt is debatable, but a lot of influence window design of this special concept car we have on later production models in each case was not seen again.
