The first Corvette? Pull out your wallet but open.

It was 1953 when the first Corvette was introduced. Today, we are now seven generations later. In the Netherlands, never popular, (because taxes), but in its home country of America is an absolute hit. Still there, near our country, a lovely copy for sale of the first model. For the enthusiast, that is.

This C1 is from 1955 and is offered by a Dutch specialist. The classic, however, is just over the border facilities. According to the supplier are only 180 C1’s built with this color combination. The restored American has the optional 4.3 litre V8 on board. Original was the ‘Vette came with a six-in-line, unless the owner otherwise wished. From 1955, it was possible to use the car with a V8.

The Gypse Red Corvette does 65.190 miles on the clock and has an asking price of 139.950 euros. The block only produces 195 hp, which is the classic to a real homeless person cruiser. Great for this mild winter, I guess.
