“The Turkish advance is a striking violation of international law”, said Nabil al-Arabi during a meeting of ministers of Foreign Affairs of the League in Cairo. Iraq demanded during the meeting, yet again, the complete withdrawal of the Turkish troops, which, according to Ankara in the north of Iraq the military of that country to train against Islamic State (IS) fight.

Turkey sent early this month hundreds of soldiers to the military base Bashiqa in Mosul. That would have happened at the request of Iraq, but Baghdad says of nothing to know. Turkey announced last weekend on the military to take back, but that seems not yet to have happened.
